LightBar Tinted to Blend In?

LightBar Tinted to Blend In?
Ok so I have a 2012 Ecoboost Tuxedo Black Platinum and I really want a light bar but I don't want the look that comes with mounting where it is noticeable. I really like just a clean looking truck. So I came up with two thoughts. To mount a 12" in the inter cooler gap a few inches further back or put maybe a 30" directly behind the grill along the lower chrome mesh looking part, I will post a picture of a truck like mine so yal can picture it.
But the main thing I have been considering to do to hide it in ether spot mounted is MAYBE tinting it with like 35% tint to hide the glare appearance of the light bar. I really think his would make the light bar way less noticeable but how much would it affect the light output??????

I don't know if I am sold on the look of the black with cut out holes but I guess it is better. And I didn't know rigid made smoked cover will look into that. I still think a very light tint job might be an awesome idea but then again it might not...

I had rigid smoked covers on my SR 20', and immediately took them off because they robbed too much light. I bought the light for... well... more light, it looking bad a** in my grill is just a happy bonus. I would not tint the lens, and if you do anyways, tint it before you ever see it without so you won't know what you're missing.

Agreed. I would feel silly spending good money on a light bar and then blocking 30% of it's output.
My truck is straight murdered and I still have untinted light bars.
