Came across LED conversion kits in another thread in this section. Curious as to how these compare to HID conversion kits. I've had an HID kit in my previous truck with good luck until they lost color over time and could never get a matching set again. I'm thinking LED may be a better alternative. How do they project light compared to HID? Compared to Halogen? I've heard mixed reviews.

Thanks for the link, didnt realize they were that complicated (i.e. Fans and all)

They get extremely hot when there are enough of them to produce enough light for the road at night. This was one of the biggest obstacles when creating LED headlamps.

They will get there though, just not for our current trucks.
