oh no, i just read this. I'm about to install the tritons in my front blinker on my limited. I'm assuming my DRL be active, people still having this blinking issue? how have people solved them?

I bought a set on amazon. Maybe could find them again. Been installed for over a year (Vermont winter & summer) only one small issue with one, replaced under warranty and still strong! Love them as they match the hid hl and led fl I have.

Using V3's Gen2's both front and back. Work great. Just wait for a sale or search the web for coupon codes to save some $$$.
Yes - they are expensive, but, IMHO, worth it. The look is very 'clean' - not silly towers festooned with LED chips - I hate that goofy look, lol. And BRIGHT !!! OMFG !!! LMAO !!!

How did you get the v3's in the rear rail light assemblies to slide back into the cutouts in the truck body? I also purchased two sets for the rear but the v3's are too large to clear the cutouts in the body of the truck. Do you have a trick? I also could not get the v3's to power up.

Some good news on the random blinking issue for the Tritons on trucks that have DRLs enabled.
I've been working with VLEDs on a fix, and they sent me a relay system they built specifically for this problem. After trying a few connection types, I found one that works with no blinking.
The system includes a relay with a connection to the positive battery terminal, and an external resistor. The former keeps the Triton from randomly blinking (from white to amber in my case), and the latter guards against hyperflash.
Latest news is that VLEDs is going to take this information and then build a connection system product just for us. Those that have contacted VLEDs about this issue are apparently "on a list" to receive the fix when they are ready.
Just wanted to share the good news, so sit tight and the fix is on the way.

Go to diodedynamics.com I purchased all my LED replacement bulbs from there including switchbacks. From this site you can get different brightness and different phases of switchbacks. And purchase a flasher with is about $20. Its alot easier than putting load resistors on your signal wires. They got good prices and good service. If something doesnt work (One bulb never worked when I purchased) they will just send you a new one no problem

So I'm looking to order from v-leds for my front signals but not if there is a problem. Have they fixd this? And/or what should I order?
On a side note, what are the 3 rear dome light sizes?

Or make your own with a 5 pin relay with a 87 pin and a 87a pin and a cheap ebay dual color bulb

Here is an update on the V3 Tritons.
I contacted VLEDs about 5 weeks ago and they told me they were working on a new assembly to fix the issues. I stayed in touch with them and purchased the new model last week.
Installed them this morning and they seem to work just fine. No hyper flash and no random colour switching. I will keep an eye on them the next while and see if everything keeps working.
