Default Contura V Switch Help

I'm going use one of OTRATTW's Contura V switches for a light bar on my 2010. I would like to use a feed from the dash lights for the switch illumination and would like it to dim with the dash. Should I just tap into the harness after the dimmer? Is there a better feed to pull from?

I also would like to have the switch power on and off with the auto headlights. Should I tap into the parking light feed from the passenger junction box?

Default

Got my switch mounted. I used an add-a-fuse in the passenger kick box on fuse 41 for the relay power. fuse 41 is a delayed switched on/off when a door is opened. As for the light on the switch, I tapped the purple/grey wire on the pedal adjust switch. the purple/grey wire throughout the dash controls the brightness. I had tried tapping it under the steering column but the voltage was not constant.

Hope this helps someone in the future!
