So, u have 2 led string, but 1 L bracket. I dont understand the red Led, it is shining away from the engine compartment, so it is just for show i guess?

More for extra visibility for oncoming traffic if you are on side of the road... I also added a strip of red led's and reflectors to the back tail gate for same purpose.

awesome setup. I like the use of an ir switch (in lieu of a mercury switch or whatever they are called) and having the red led strip facing forward so the truck is more visible in an an emergency situation. I will definitely be doing this to my truck. thanks man.
