from what ive read the headlights on the 2015 still put out a good cutoff even without the projector so it does not blind on coming traffic. I would gladly buy a proper retrofit if they were not ridiculously over priced, i would never spend $1300+ for that.
on another note im fine with someone trying to blind me as i have a light bar and can play those games...

Perhaps I missed what year your truck is. I could not find it above. I have also seen the 2015s and I do not remember seeing a cutoff at all. I have seen many other led OEM lights and never seen a distinct cutoff, well nothing that comes close to Bil's retros.
Anyway, please don't take my comments the wrong way, but you and I playing the high beam game is not going to change the facts that your lights will probably annoy someone enough that they will take other action than just flashing you. I have seen it a couple times now. As ridiculous as it may sound, just trying to help you avoid some potential grief in the future. Hope you find that happy medium.

the bulbs are not for the low beam lights (car has factory HIDs). We have been running them for about four months. They don't overpower the low beams and the color matches perfectly. It would be like the Putco fogs for my F150. vleds does make a low beam kit that has an LED running off a ballast, i hear they are very bright!

I'd go with the Mini H1 projector kit from TRS. Open the housings. Mount the projector in the hole for the OEM bulb. Seal back up. Best $300 upgrade, and no blinding folks with crappy PnP bulbs in stock reflectors.

Most if not all vehicles that have LED headlights from the factory have projectors and most run multiple bulbs. Ford is one of the exceptions with no projectors and one bulb (I believe)
