Incorrect. You can use a 20" SR bar in there. That allows for PLENTY of airflow to the intercooler. I've had mine in there for months, never had an issues, and don't foresee EVER having a problem.

How did you mount it and any pics with it on? Does it help at night

I drilled through that back "winch plate" and mounted the Rigid mount tabs to that. Just requires a little bit of measuring, nothing crazy. You will need to remove those "bread boxes" on the sides of that opening during installation, but that's easy as they just pop off.

I'll find some pics for you later. YES it does help. Quite a lot.

Im seeing a lot of these on amazon for good prices but they dont seem to come with wiring? How is everyone wiring them? could they be spliced into the fog lights?

You're seeing the cheap chinese knock-off ones probably. If you buy a high quality domestic made one like Rigid Industries, they will come with a full premade easy-to-use wiring harness with switch.

A set of Duallys could definitely be spliced into the fog lights, but you wouldn't want to run a large bar off the fog wiring.

Amazon Amazon

Heres the 20" bar to put in the bottom

Im pretty sure I can cut off the end of this connector or either buy the correct end and put on the lights that dont have it.

I'm not a fan of the Chinese knock-off lights but if you must...

Those cubes will work fine, but you'll still need wiring harnesses for them.

That bar is too big for the opening down there if you have an EcoBoost, it will block too much airflow to the lower intercooler. You will need to get one of the "Single Row" lights rather than the "Double Row" you selected. Like this one or similar:
