LED foot well wiring and dimming

Finished!
I finished my foot well lighting yesterday after spending almost 2 whole days on it. I will try to do a little write up when I have more time.
I wired it to the front parking lamp circuit after the fuse where it comes out of the passenger side fuse panel in a rectangular plug connector. Used a PWM dimmer from Oznium and flexible strips from SuperBrightLEDs.
I have one more question for the electrical guru's; I would like to wire into the power supply wire from the park lamp source a PNP transistor with the base powered by the reverse light circuit, so that it shuts power to the dimmer off when I put it in reverse. However, I don't want the lights flickering off every time I shift in and out of Park. Could I use a capacitor in the wire from the reverse light circuit to the base that would give, say, a 1 second delay before it shuts the LED's off?
Thanks again for the help!
