Hey everyone new to the forum and been looking around trying not to spend a lot of money. Anyway quick question about installing LED Fogs as backup lights.
I have installed fog as backup lights before using a relay and running a power wire to the back of the truck then used the reverse light to trigger the relay and turn the fogs on.

I was wondering if you could just tap into the reverse lights wiring to run the LED fogs since they do not pull as much as old regular halogen bulbs did. Anyone done this? I have seen the recon fogs that people have wired up, but did they use a power wire and relay?

Yah I think it would work. I did that with my back up camera and works fine, not sure on how much it's pulling compared to the fog lights tho.
