You can rotate the bulb from the base to help with a cut-off if need be. The bulbs are also coming out the sides (diodes) rather then all around, which helps produce a cut-off.

There is a reason a lot of people use them over the other brands out there (like putco, who honestly just re-brands someone elses and charges you twice as much - i'm NOT a fan of Putco, as all they sell is re-branded stuff at 2x the price)

That putco set you got... goes for like $75 online anywhere, just under a different name.

I'm glad you are happy but it's not just about how YOU see the light, it's about what you to do other drivers that concerns a lot of people. I don't care where ya buy the lights from as long as ya don't blind oncoming drivers.

These are the ones I speak of:

And, as you can see in their description, the ARE adjustable as well.

Those are slightly an improvement over the last ones Putco had actually (the fanless ones). They may give you a decent cut-off and help other drivers. I'd have to try them myself but a def. improvement it looks like.

Not sure I trust the fanless design though..

Here's some pictures at night. I did notice a blue tint to the Morimoto's compared to my headlights. That kind of baffles me, however, because my headlights are 6500k, and the Morimoto's are 5000. 5000k is supposed to be closer to sunlight. While the higher rating is supposed to be more blue-ish. My headlights are a pure white. Still, while driving, they work together in harmony, eliminating hot and cold spots. I can only describe it as, the best beam pattern I've ever seen.

Yeah the morimoto fogs have a nice clean cut-off because of their design. The XHP LED Kits I sell have a cut-off but not as defined, BUT they throw twice as much light lol

Looks great. I wouldn't buy anything from the tool of a "vendor" above. All his posts are claiming on people's rigs that he is suprised they got such cheap lights or they should have got his blah blah blah. Morimoto makes some good stuff, I did a retrofit of the D2S 3.0 that has amazing output, and am going do the spare set with fxr once this shutdown ends and I have time again. My led fog lights are also not the led guys brand so I'm sure he'll say something about why I should have got his instead of my rigid sae duallys.....

You've got to hand it to him, for his tenacity, but, it does start to wear on your patience after a while. I was beginning to wonder if he was the only one reading my review.

Hey I'm just pointing out what others agree with me no. Use cheap LED lights and you'll blind oncoming drivers. That is NOT a good thing. Buy quality lights. I'm not the only person selling lights. Don't like me, hey that's fine, but buy a decent pair of LED lights. Stop buying based on a "name" because every high-end manufacturer has an LED kit that they re-brand... but buy something that's tested and works. There are a lot of guys on here who used to LED let headlights because of what you guys are putting in your trucks, they cause blindness to oncoming drivers.

I would like to see a proper wall shot of the headlights... you know like 25' away from a wall on level ground...
