Default Installed Morimoto's and they look Marrrvelous!

Hey guys, right after I bought the truck, I installed Putco Silver Lux quad beams. If you haven't done this yet, do yourself a favor, and get-r-done! Anyway, while I absolutely love the headlights, they wouldn't quite be finished, until the fog's were LED's as well. For these, I chose the Morimoto's. I can't stand the aftermarket hid's that splash the light in everyone else's eyes. If you do that, you're a douche! Plain and simple. The headlights I chose, minimize that effect with a clear and focused hotspot. As seen by my previous posts. The Morimoto's are actually a led projected, full replacement, for your stock fog lights. They have a razor like, projected beam.
Install was very easy. I simply followed the instruction of this video:
Make sure you mark where your stock lights shine. To do this, I used electrician's tape on my garage door. The retaining screw with the spring on it, is also your adjustment screw. I believe my Silver Lux's are 6500K-4000 lumens and the Morimoto's are more like 5000k. So, there is a slight color difference for me, but they're very close. I don't see a blue tint.
Anyway, here's the finished product...

Glad you like the Morimotos but I'm amazed you went with the Putcos.. ya know that style bulb blinds oncoming drivers right? There are better kits out there with better bulbs. Putco has yet to pickup the newer style yet so they sell the older kind.

The ones I went with don't have the fan to worry about. They use a copper, cloth like, looped fabric to dispense the heat. The 'Silver Lux' version from Putco, which is their newest version. Supposedly came out this year or last. I've already posted pictures of the beams, in older posts. They look quite good, with a good cut off. I do not get flashed at all.

Yeah the ability to bend that in place was popular with Fords... but the diode design isn't that great. It's not good for oncoming drivers.

What makes your diodes any better? Just curious. Is it because you don't sell Silver Lux? Or, have yours found a way to shine differently upon the housing mirrors? I don't get why yours are so revolutionary, as to somehow bend light differently. I'm **** about beam pattern. I DO NOT want to be that guy. If I thought the lights I put in my truck were blinding to oncoming vehicles, I'd pull them. But, as I've demonstrated, both with pictures and video, these do not disperse the light unfocused. They have a clear hot spot and a very good cut off. Now that we're done talking about my headlights, please, lets focus on the topic at hand. Morimoto Fog lights.

Yeah they are adjutable and provide a sharper cut-off then the others... give it about 6 months and you'll see the market flooded with the same style I've been using/selling

Adjustable how? Mine are positioned exactly where I need them. Up and down are done with the top adjustment screw above the radiator. And you still haven't explained how yours have a sharper cut off. Do they hit the mirrors differently? If I suddenly start having problems with mine, sure, I'll give yours a go. You do seem to be popular here. But, until mine break, I'm not going to change mine out. Yours are cheaper, I'll give you that. Mine were $200 a set. But, to berate mine, to sell yours, on the thread I started, is inappropriate. I've made my bed, and I'm happy with it. I'm very happy, infact. And, in the end, that's all that matters. I do not get a kick back of any kind from Putco, or anyone else, for that matter. I'm not trying to sell the Silver Lux led's. I could care less which headlight bulbs anyone chooses, as long as it isn't the ones that indiscriminately scatter too bright a light. I'm simply saying, I'm happy with my choice.
