Well, I ran into a issue today. After reading else where about them brackets, The link I posted for the mounting brackets are for 4x4 trucks only with the tow hooks. My truck is 2 wheel drive.
I called randy Ellis up and they confirmed the mounts fit only 4x4. CRAP!
Well, "Danny" agreed to have UPS return the package to sender while it was still in transit to me. I offered to pay for the S/H and was told a stern NO! He said their company will take care of it. Yep, their company is going to eat $20+ for s/h. Whoa, that's customer service there.
I did inquire about their Sleekster light bar while on the phone with Danny. He told me that they also bolt to the tow hooks. So at this point I was SOL with giving this company my $$..
Something kept telling me to go back on their web page. According to their light bar model 2905, the picture of the truck is a ford and it looks like the mount attaches to the frame near the inter cooler air way. I'm hoping Danny misunderstood me and the truck I have when I questioned him about the mount.. I will be calling him back tomorrow and hopefully give this company some business
