anyone hear of this guy?
these mounts are simple, cheap and what I am looking for. I was not interested in the fancy light bar mounts to begin with. But I like simple.

I was thinking about getting the nFab or smittybilt, but that would be even better. It would allow for the 40 inch bar over the 30 inch

this is easily no more ugly than mounting a 30 inch bar on top of a Smittybilt or nFab bar

Those aren't particularily attractive either.

There's a nice bumper opening to french a lightbar into, much sleeker and cleaner.

I'm lost here LOL. Which bars are you guys saying are ugly? The Nfab/Smitty built OR the one from The link I posted in my first post?

Everyone has their own likings. I think they ascetically fit in with the truck because the brackets are the same chrome as the bumper. No to overkill. It is only fifty bucks. So the thing I do would be buy them and see if YOU like them installed. Good luck and post some pics of them installed with the light bar when you get it.
