How to power led strips?

Default How to power led strips?
I was wondering what the best way to power my interior led strips would be. I also have a rocker switch that i want to mount so i can manually turn them off and on whenever i want. Would tapping into my dome lights or cigarette lighter be the best option? Ive never done this before. 2006 xlt screw

Well depends on when you would like to use them. If you wanna be able to turn them on with the key off tap into something constant like cig lighter.

Can I turn the ignition on and use a meter find a fuse spot that has 12v? That's what both my friends with chevs did and it looked easy
