Sooner or later someone will jump in and rant on about how wrong it is and how you need to do it proper with a retrofit. Yes it does suck when someone is coming at you with them at night, but I think the f150's headlights handle them better than most, don't get me wrong, still not proper like a true projector. But if you take the time to aim them down a bit for the lifted and levels guys, I think you'll be ok. But retrofit is the way to go. Will be starting mine soon, kit will be here in a few days.

Well maybe with eBay projectors, but with a true retrofit the visibility is 100x better than a Plug and play system. This picture is from a mini h1, a projector lower on the pole. All it books down to is what you want tho. If you want a plug and play kit then go on for it. Just shop around and see what your happy paying with, and remember you get what you pay for. So don't go too cheap. Just read reviews if available

I don't mind paying for retro fit but there is no way I will ever shell out more than 400 for lights...so if I can't get a decent job done for that I will continue to be that jackwagon that blinds people lol sounds harsh but I don't have that kind of cash to toss down on lights. Are there any retro fits that are within that range or am I better off just making sure I aim them well.

Well 400 will pretty much cover a kit and set of aftermarket headlight. But if you do it yourself you could get away with a little over 300.

Well that's not bad. I was reading yesterday and some people on the new model are shelling out like $1600 on new headlight setups...and I was just shocked. Any links to some decent headlights that can handle HID's?

I have been reading a lot about DDM HID's, I have been watching video's and stuff on them...is that who you would go with Nick?

^^reviews seem mixed...so let me rephrase that....who would be your first choice for HID lights that are quality.
