HID retrofit - Tips or tricks?
Hey Guys,
I decided i wanted to give retrofitting my headlights with HIDs a go. I bought a separate set of OEM headlights for my 2012 F150 and I am wondering is there any tricks to getting the lights apart?
Ive been all over the forum, ive tried different times, temperatures. Ive stripped all the hardware out i just cannot for the life of me get the lights apart.
Does anyone have a specific tool or trick they use that they wouldnt mind passing on? I really like the billinvic lights, and am leaning that way anyway but I wanted to give pulling these lights apart one more go.
I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

I just used a flathead screwdriver. 230 for about 12min. Start small and work ya way around. Start by scraping the glue on the outside of the channel cuz the lights are in a u shaped channel. Once you get a good section done...Start trying to get between the lens and the back. Took 4 1/2 hours total for me. Worth it though. I just painted everything last night on mine. I'm takin pics and will do a write up too
