Default Have an idea and want confirmation from gurus!

I ordered two of these and want to use them in my 2010 STX which only has the one big dome light.

I already have one and it is in and looks great but the way the festoon mount is it mounts in the middle so I had to mount the panel off to one side. There is plenty of light over stock but it looks goofy with the panel off to one side so.....

My idea is that since they draw so little watts and power that I can take a second panel and splice the wires into the festoon mount and then mount the second panel on the other side making it look even!

Will this work, I don't want to overload something and I don't think it will get too hot as they felt way cooler than the filament bulb that was in there.

Should be fine. The amperage draw on LEDs are way lower than a filament bulb.

Well I got the soldering done and all hooked up and it seems to work great! Time will tell though. At least my OCD is ok now tha it looks even and the light is even side to side. Lol
