Wrong, look at these:

They will actually work for 06-14 round fogs

Don't forget that LEDs don't put off very much heat, so snow and ice accumulation will be worse than the hids, and much worse than halogens.

The lights arrived today... but the 3,000k color temp they used is very similar to Halogen... so they don't pass my "test." I emailed them with some photos of what I want (them being my manufacturer overseas). Hopefully they can get me a different bulb.
They may think of yellow as a 2,000k bulb, as 3,000k borders on the yellow/white line.
I have 1 fog installed, i'll wait till night fall to really verify it's not what I want.

The Retrofit Source used to sell a self contained projector called the Blazer. I retrofitted my fog lights on my last truck and the results were pretty awesome. Sadly, they no longer make them.

New samples arrived today. MUCH MUCH better. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I have to add these to my site but these will go for about $100 a pair. They don't have a ballast and screw right in. I didn't even have to remove my fog lights (which I recommend you do if you use the 6,000 lumen 6,500k temp kits of mine).
These are 3,000 lumen and come with 4 temperature filters that go around the bulb. You get 4 colors each (so you have a spare pair of each color). I guess technically its 5 colors since without a filter, it's a pure white. Similar to what is on the market already of course, not saying these are a "new" technology. They are about a year old I think, but work great and give you a few color options for the fogs. Here is a chart. My LED Headlights don't do much because it's actually light out a bit in these photos but you get the idea on how the fogs really pack a nice yellow punch and will light up the road in bad weather. THIS is what a fog should look like (but how many of us want to drive around with yellow lights on OR never have our fogs on... I'll probably stick with my yellow fogs and only use the fogs in bad weather)

Thank you all for your input, I appreciate it. I guess I'll just have to try a variety of different options and see what works best for my needs. I think the 2004-2014 F150 headlamps are poorly designed. After having a 2013 for a few years, and now, most recently my 2004, I'm not impressed. I do a lot of dark road, and foul weather driving and feel the stock head lamps suck. Some of you might have better vision than I do--which is fine. I've tried a variety of halogen bulbs and haven't been overly impressed with them. I guess I'll have to look auxiliary bolt/clamp on lighting that will suit my needs best.

I agree with you. I haven't had stock lighting on my 07 since 2009. I ran pNp HIDs for a while, but stepped up to retrofits which are 100x better. I also have four 6" HID lights behind the grill.
