Default Fog light housings for 04-08

I'm looking to do something with my housings. I'm slowly dechroming the truck, and was curious if there is anything I can do with my fog light housings. I figure i can maybe paint it, or just shade the lens. Either that or its impossible because the housing itself is the reflector.

Painting is definitely possible, I would get the morimoto led fogs. I have them and they are nearly black. Sometimes you can't even tell I have fogs, the opening looks empty

I tried to open mine, I baked at 230 for 10 minutes and the lens slightly deformed so I gave up. I have "light smoke" precut vinyl fog overlays arriving tomorrow to try. If not, then I am ordering these:

Great! Exactly what I was looking for, much better than stock IMO. Will be even better when I get my retrofits in here, in about a month or so

This is the only one I have atm, could take more tomorrow if needed

Those look nice! I might drop the $170 on them at a later point.

Nice! I'll look into those, too. Is that what you baked your heads at, too? I may end up switching my lenses. And where'd you get the butyl tape?

You think these will bolt up? The Morimoto looks REALLY nice. I'm just not sure if I want to drop $170 on fogs.
