Factory LED Fog Lights
Hello Forum members,
I`m new here so forgive me for any mistakes.
I was wondering if anyone has seen the new " factory " LED Fog Lights on the 2017 F-250 Platinum.
If so, any idea if they will fit/bolt right into or on the 2015-2017 F-150`s in place of the halogen fog lights?
I have a 2016 F-150 Lariat with the 502A package and i`m considering the Morimoto LED fog lights but, if the OEM versions will bolt right up then why not keep it all Ford.
I tried to look up the part# on the Ford website but it`s not listed.
Any help that you can give me would be great.
Hope to hear from someone soon.

I wasn't aware the new 2017 250's had led lights, thats pretty cool.
Not sure if they'd fit, probably not due to the body design.
You can always install LED bulbs in your fog lights. Check out our site, we sell an LED Conversion kit for the headlights but it also works amazingly in the fog lights. LOTS of light output. We also sell the Morimotos if you like that look as well.
This is my truck with our XHP LED Kits in my headlights and fog lights.

The SD led fogs appear to be the same size as the F150s. Only downside to me is theyre chrome housings. As well as they go for 140.00 perside, where as the Morimotos are black housings like my SE oem led heads, and are 200.00 and less per pair.

Toddman38,
Thanks for the pic.
Correct me if i`m wrong but isn`t that a picture of a 2017 F250 Lariat?
The reason that i`m asking is because the pics that i`ve seen of the new OEM LED fog lights, the housing was not chrome.
Also, the OEM LED fog lights on the new SuperDuty`s are only available on the KR as part of an option package and they come standard on the Platinum.
They are not offered in any package for the Lariat F250`s.

They are paired with the LED headlights. You can actually get them on several trim levels including the Lariat.

Any SD that you can get the oem led heads, you can get the led fogs as well. Lariat, and above!
The oem led fogs have chrome housings.

Bravo3eco & Toddman38,
Thanks for the info.
Perhaps I overlooked it or it`s been changed on the SuperDuty website but I didn`t see in any of the Lariat package options that LED fogs were available.
I agree that it doesn`t make any sense that they wouldn`t be offered on the Lariat.

Hey guys,
I was just on the Ford website and you can go check it out if you like but on the 2017 F250 SuperDuty, the versions that you can get the LED Fogs are in the Ultimate Package for the King Ranch and they come standard on the Platinum F250.
I looked at every option package and every item in those packages for the Lariat, LED fog lights are not offered. Yes, you can get LED headlights but no LED fog lights.
Also, the housings are not chrome they`re dark and there are pics of the actual SuperDuty LED fog lights in the posting about SuperDuty parts fitting F150`s.

Hi Toddman38,
You are correct sir about the price which was posted from from a quote from Tasca. Being OEM Ford, it`s only natural they`ll cost more than the Morimoto`s
Depending on the dealer, i`m sure that price would vary give or take a few dollars more.
I`m going to pull the trigger on them and see if they`ll bolt in.
I`ll keep you any anyone else who might be interested updated.
