Headlight Rubber Caps with Led Upgrade
Upgraded my headlights with some Claralux G9s with the aluminum heatsinks. Was able to throw everything in the housing on the highbeams with the OEM rubber cap....but on the low beams the CANBUS modules would not fit in nor would the OEM cap without the Canbus modules due to the back of the bulb sticking out further.
I currently have an aftermarket extended cap on there now. I don't like how they fit....it fits SNUG but wants to slip off since they use the outside of the housing to grip on to unlike the factory ones. I also need to figure out how to run the wires from the Canbus modules in and keep it waterproof so I can run them outside the housings. I don't want to get water in my headlights and I'm worried about these aftermarket caps vibrating off.
Any suggestions?
