Default Job Done

Installed new mirrors with turn signal, puddle lamps, heat and power adjust. You guys were right It was a plug and play since the new mirrors had the right pin set connectors and my truck was pre-wired. Found them on E-Bay for $203 with free shipping. Took about 30 minutes.

Default Exterior mirror mod

I wanted to do the same thing to my 06 xlt. It does have the electric adjustment of the mirror only. No signal light and more important to me no heater mirror. I'd like to do the mod mainly for the heat, but my truck does not have rear defrost, at least I don't see it anyway (had the truck for a week only). Any ideas if I can still do it? Which year mirror would best be used and any threads on schematic if I have to run new wiring for it? Thank u

I had to take the mirrors off to route wires so , save yourself the trouble and remove them first and then take out the mirror on your wk bench and add the LED's so you can bench test before you install ... its much easier IMO ... I also went with a 3/4 amber in the puddle lamp spot for an extra signal seen from behind , dont need the regular light there ... plenty of light under truck with 7 ft led strips on each side ....
So i have a 2010 Ford XL Reg Cab, I have the regular standard mirrors, no power fold, no heat, no signal, no puddle light.... Would i be able to install a set like this

and have it be plug and play?

I say this because i have a factory towing package on my truck, without the electrical brake control mod. But as i ripped the console apart i found a harness clipped into a dummy plate... which leads me to believe there might be a harness at the mirror... Is this true? and if this is not true, are there kits that i can make this work ?

My old 06 XLT work truck didn't have signal lights to begin with, but after a couple of neighbourhood teenagers got at the mirrors (caught on camera) I ordered the set with heated and signal light. Plugged it in, lo and behold, I had signal lights and heated glass.
sorry so old of a post but Did your 06 XLT already have the heated glass feature? My 06 XLT has only power adjust. And im thinking to put heated and signal light mirrors.
