All looks pretty straight forward, but I have a few questions, better to ask then guess...and then I don't have to spend as much time out in the cold!!

Do you remember which wire was the highbeam? I'm sure I can figure it out, but its likely your wiring is exactly the same as mine...

Because I haven't gone out there and rooted around yet...when you say foglight feed....do they actually feed from the headlights...so I just need to trace the wire? Or do they feed from somewhere else?

The sealed fuse holder....so are we running an inline fuse here? If so...what size?

Thanks for this, I've searched around a bit, and most say that this is easily done pre 09,(Bambi mod) but a different story with the new trucks. I was considering wiring in a switch with power to the fogs....but really didn't want to do that. Obviously you've made it work.
Hey sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I work in camp and the internet is spotty, at best.

Here's a H13 diagram

The foglight harness is directly behind the passender side headlight, you can't miss it. Loomed wires going to the foglight, tie the 87 pole of the relay into the colored wire in that foglight harness. I bare the wire and solder, but you could use those plastic vampire clips for a quick install.

Use a weather proof inline fuse, I run 20 but 15 should be fine.

The install itself is SUPER fast and takes mere minutes.

If you'd like, I would be willing to build a harness for you.. I would use factory plugs, so you would just need to plug my box between the headlight socket and the bulb, then plug the other end between the foglight socket and bulb, then run a cord to the battery.. Wouldn't have to cut anything!

Let me know and I will order the parts.

Thanks! That all makes sense to me.

I may take you up on your offer, but first, I'll take a peak back there myself and see if I'm comfortable with it. Just have to wait for it to warm up a bit, -16c tmrw...and we just got 15cm of snow...not gonna happen!

Thanks again for the info....and the offer to help out!!

you need to put diodes in between the relay and fog and some where in the stock fog wiring.

He's assuming that there will be back feeding from the factory foglights into the relay somehow, which is completely untrue.

You don't need a diode, don't worry.
