I had that problem with my HIDs from DDM but id just turn em off them back on and worked perfectly fine. It did for a year until i traded the truck in. I plan get another set of headlights and fog lights from them. Out of all the vehicles i have had them on never had a problem with them. Neither has my friends that has had them on multiple cars. Cheap/poverty HIDs maybe but i like them and dont give to ****s what anyone else thinks about them

Just an update..... I finally got around to swapping the ballast to see if one was bad and both of them fire right away every time after the swap. It must have been a bad connection somewhere causing it.

Congrats on the fix.
Just a suggestion and take it as you will, but always try diagnosing things yourself before opening up a thread. Someone somewhere will have something to say, and it wont always be constructive to resolve the problem. Brand preference or not, there was an issue that was trying to be resolved, and if the manufacturer could not recommend a fix for it, then most likely it is a design fault.
I am glad you got it resolved and I hope they last a long time to come. I myself will stick with halogens simply for the fact of part availability.
These types of lights may look fantastic and work super well and justify the cost, but when a part goes out it costs money to replace it and you cant always walk into a napa or oreilly's or auto zone and grab a bulb off the shelf.
No hating at all going on, just prefer the OLD SCHOOL OEM version....
