There you go. I can post pictures of my output from my '95 Cobra that I put them in. Not a truck but you get the idea.
Head over to HIDPlanet.com, there is a lot of knowledge there.

Seems like a combination of two things.
#1) Those lights are nice and pretty but the reflector is not what you'd consider "good quality".
#2) The output is normal PnP behavior, as noted above.
The fix? Well, that depends on your budget.
You can go get another set of headlights with projectors off ebay ($150?) and then you're probably going to need a different HID setup ($75?). For $225 you'll have an investment that you'll STILL not be perfectly happy with because the projectors you'll be getting are NOT going to be meant for HID use... no matter what the eBay ad tells you.
What I'd do?
Chalk this up to experience, go to TRS and spend $270 on a proper retrofit.

Keep your current lights, since they do look good. The install of those projectors INSIDE the lights you already have will be an unbeatable combo for less than $300. Once you bake your current headlights open, you'll be looking at about 45 minutes to 1 hour worth of install.

I did a TSX with Morimoto Elite 35w retrofit (from TRS) in my Mazda 6 and I will NEVER go back to halogen.

I say the same thing every time I drive my Cobra. I have them in the toy but not the daily driver... SMH. I really want to do the LS430s in the truck but it's so much money. I'll probably just do the FXRs
