Hey guys,
Does anybody know if the Recon Side mirror LED lenses that replace the amber strip on the front are just a plug and play deal, meaning that you pop the old lense off, plug the wire into a plug that is already stock inside the mirror, or do you have to splice it into the power wire that rotates the mirror? I want to know if I have to do any wiring before I buy them.

X2 I would like to know too, their website doesnt really answer my questions! Can i make them running lights too somehow or are they just blinkers? If anyone has them can they post pics i was thinking about the clear lense one!

There is no plug on them it tells you to tap them into the turn signal in the mirror.

Hey Clinton,
I talked to another owner who installed these on his F150 and he told me to look up "Recon smoked side mirror lenses WITH LEDs" in the search bar on F150 forum and find the posts by NOLAGT. There are about 8 pages describing the processes of installing these and I found them really helpful, and there are videos of what they look like in different light environments. I haven't bought these for myself yet, but they're on my list! Check it out.
