I have a 2013 F150 ecoboost that came stock with halogen headlights. I purchased a set of OEM F150 projector headlights off eBay. They came with D1s bulbs and ballasts in them. I purchased the Morimoto harness and wired it all up. They worked good for 2 days they stopped working. I pulled the bulbs out and noticed both blew out. I purchased a pair of D3s ballasts, cables and bulbs (daiode dynamics bulbs). Wired it all backup and as soon as I hooked the power cable to the battery both bulbs blew out. I'm not sure what the issue is. Anyone else have this problem? I tried a search but came up with nothing. Thanks.

Where did you buy the Morimoto harness? They are know to have issues, especially with the 09-14 trucks. Some guys have reported going through multiple harnesses.

I got it from The Retrofit Source. I contacted them via email, just waiting to hear back.

Some had Bad Relays. I installed the oem hids in my previous 12 xlt, with a morimoto harness. This was in november of 2012, never had a single issue.

Sold them to a buddy, back in Augast. Hes still using the exact setup, and origonal bulbs, No Issues...

Thats what was so weird... seems like people either had 0 issues, or they had a ton. I figured Id have to get a good one eventually. lol
