This is my setup except for Ignot Silver instead of grey. Now that I've seen a set of painted shrouds in the chrome buckets I'm debating whether or not to paint the buckets at all. Decisions, decisions...!

I'm wanting to do a retrofit on my fx4 but I don't know nothing about them lol. I'm wanting something oem looking but I don't want all the chrome reflector in it. Just something that doesn't stick out and factory looking. Any advice is greatly appreciated

A FX style headlight with a slightly tinted amber reflector mixed with a black painted shroud against the chrome bucket would look pretty slick.

If you scroll up and look at the lights I just finished for VABchRNR, they retain the OEM chrome reflector bucket, but with the gloss black shrouds, it tricks the eye into thinking the chrome is much darker. The reflection of the black in the chrome and vice versa is absolutely killer and I can't wait to see photos of these lights installed on his F150.

I thought about using Plasti Dip smoke spray on the chrome reflectors, but I'm not sure how it would hold up. That would probably look good too.

What color is your F150?
