This is what I think.....you need to give that poor 'ole Platinum a wash!!!!!

Seriously though, I think the HD/FX lights would look good, keeping the reflector bucket and shroud chrome. It gives a different look to your F150, but will still retain an OEM appearance, which I think is appropriate for your particular model with that color.

What's your gut instinct though? That's what is really important.

It's damn near impossible to keep a truck clean in Alaska....for Alaska standards that's showroom clean

'O man...I could never live up there then.

Anyhow...I have some more good news.

As most know, my fogs are the Matchbox projectors which are bi-xenon as well. The bi-xenon feature is obviously not functional because the fogs are automatically turned off when you flick your high beams on.......well, not any more. I had TRS build me a custom wire harness that now allows me to use the Matchbox's bi-xenon capability. When I flick my high beams on, not only do my heads switch to high beam, the fogs do too. It's a full frontal assault of light. And the best part is, when I'm in low beam mode, the fog lights can still be manually controlled on or off. Their is no option when in high beam mode to turn off the fogs...it's all or nothing! The complete harness is plug 'n play.

I went for drive after dark tonite to play....and let me tell you, for the folks that are living in rural areas, it's going to be a pleasure going for a ride in the dark....or should I say light???

If a client is ordering retrofit fogs and they do not desire this option....no problem. The ballasts can be connected to the stock Ford wire harness without an additional wire harness to run. I've been running 35w HIDs in my fogs for a couple of years now (prior to the retrofit fogs) without one hiccup connected to the stock harness. The heads on the other hand, absolutely need the H13 wire harness to function.

The fog light bi-xenon capability will cost an additional $60.00 though. There are two parts to this harness, the splitters that run from the heads plus a 9006 heavy duty dual 30a wire harness.

Honestly, if your an urban driver, this probably isn't necessary...but it is very kool.

That's awesome bill! Is it something that is easy to add later or take off if you don't want it like that anymore?

Are you referring to the Panamera shroud painted to match the Platinum grill?

That's the problem, there's so many options, is hard to make a choice...I understand. I'm all up in arms as to what to do with my new set for my truck too.
