I definitely like the idea of having new headlights sent out and I wouldn't hesitate spending the extra money on them. Hopefully I'l be able to get some from you soon!

Subscribed for MOAR pics. The more I see your work, the closer I get to putting in my order. Lol. But curious, why is there the yellow visible when the light is off?

Thanxs for the feedback. I'm going to go ahead and order some brand new OEM Harley/FX headlights to have on stock. Because I'm in Canada, they are likely going to cost me more...unless I can find a local dealer that will match an American price. More to follow.

I will post the cost of supplying new OEM lights as soon as I get a firm price. Rough guess would be approximately $300 on top of the retrofit prices.

The coating that goes on the Angel Eyes is the reason. My understanding is that it's a phosphorous layer of some sort. It's more visible behind the Panamera shrouds because of the larger "windows" that are part of this shroud's design. It wouldn't be as noticeable behind the Apollo shroud for example.

What's the turn around time? I have a set of HD lights as well as my stock chrome ones so I wouldn't have to buy new ones, just ship them to you.

Right now, the turn around time is looking around July. I have 5 jobs booked right now, including the current project. That being said, my whole schedule is going to change in June. My current posting in the Navy is a M-F 8-4 job. Starting in June, I'm going to be on watches...5 days on, 5 days off. These 5 days will give me plenty of time to work on retrofits so my turn around time will likely be shorter. I will obviously get a better grasp of my time management once I go to this new posting.

I thought I would take a couple shots of my truck's lighting since I didn't have any night shots.

FX-R 2.0 with 55w 6K heads and 35w 3K fogs. I got flashed too many times with the 6k fogs, so I switched them to the 3ks and haven't been flashed once....so far. They are actually very effective and the road directly in front of my truck is completely lit up. I really like the contrast between to 6k and 3k lights. Maybe one day I'll try a fog light retrofit.

The heads look more blue because I deliberately aimed my camera (on a tripod) at the height of the cutoff to see the color flicker.

Hey Bill, which shrouds do you have? Also do you have a pic from inside the truck at night? Thanks looking forward to dealing with you.
