If you feel like a road trip, I'll turn off your DRLs.

I was actually thinking of taking a road trip to Georgia in the new year to meet the TRS folks...

Default 1001...

Just missed the 1000th post here, but for 1001 I have a few crappy cell phone pics of my lights from Bil which came Thurs night.

Anyway, truck is kind of dirty but the lights look amazing...these pics do no justice whatsoever, but I don't have a real camera so you'll have to take my word for it and I'll get some better pics when I can.

As for the install, once I got everything laid out it was a breeze...when I fired up the lights, I put the key in accessory mode and they worked great. Then when I turned over the ignition, I lost both projectors. Sure enough, I blew a fuse in the wiring harness (25a for those wondering). I replaced it and they fired up fine.

I also added LED switchbacks for the turn signals (with resistors). The driver's side turn signal works halfway right now - it flashes amber with no hyper flash, but it doesn't turn white at all. The passenger's side doesn't work at all...and interestingly enough neither does the side marker light. Interesting because I tapped into there for the LED halos, and they work fine. I'll have to do some investigating tomorrow.

Well, on to the pics...enjoy!

ugh...so I missed on 2 counts; not 1001 and the pics didn't upload. I just signed up for Flickr to share my iPhone pics (via iPhoto)...not sure why it doesn't work, but I'll figure it out and get the pics up.

Bil, white looks factory...amber looks modified! BOTH look sick! These are good decisions to make.

Has anyone else had trouble wiring in the LED's? the keep blowing the 20 amp fuse of the park light as soon as i connect both. they are connected to the side marker lights. would i have more luck connecting them to the turn signal wires?
