that would be the function of a concaved wall. it hat the flattest approach to it for leveling. does look weird but i assure you there is no bowing

Hey all....just wanted to give an update of how things are going with the retrofitting.

The PM's are non-stop and my 500 limit is constantly being approached. By all means, I'm not complaining, I love what I'm doing now. If you can, please email me at:

bil_attridge(at)yahoo.com Please let me know what your F150Forum screen name is too.

I'm actually starting to book into September now...I sincerely apologize for the wait, but there's nothing I can do about it right now. The thought has entered my mind to retire from the Canadian Navy now with 21+ years to do this retrofit deal full time. My wife is all for it too.

Here's the bad news....commencing 1 August 2010 I'm going to raise my prices...not substantially though. In order to continue, I have to make a bit more profit in order to make it worth my time. Existing orders and all deposits made prior to this date will use the current price list, even if your build is scheduled after 1 August. I apologize, but it is what it is.

Today, yet another TRS order arrived...this time with some special components. I received a pair of Matchbox Mini projectors that can be used for retrofitting fog lights. These projectors are bi-xenon with a flat cut-off. Not sure if I will wire them up to be high/low though. If TRS keeps these projectors as regular stock, I will eventually offer fog light retros as well. For the time being, my truck will be the guinea pig when I find the time!!!
I also got my hands on a pair FX-R 3.0 with 3" lens', compared to 2.5" lens for the regular FX-R. Again, these are going into my truck when I find the time. I will have to find out if these projectors will be regularly stocked at TRS too. The 3" lens will look more in scale with our large headlights. Can't wait to see how they look. They are slightly higher priced though.

As much as I don't want to admit I had one problem with one of my retrofits, I just wanted to let you guys know that I am here for after sales support. One of my first clients in Texas was washing his truck and noticed the passenger side shroud had shifted. I can't explain why yet, until I receive and open the headlight up. Doesn't affect the light output, but it's not cosmetically correct. He contacted me, explained his observations and sent some photos so I could see for myself. As a result, I am building a brand new single headlight for him, sending it to him on my dime so that he doesn't have any down time. He's going to send the light back to me on my dime as well. I will investigate what happened so that I can ensure this will be a one time only occurrence. Retrofitting is not cheap...and my reputation means everything to me. If you have any issues, please let me know and I will do my best to make everything good.

So again, I want to thank you all for the tremendous support and trusting me with your retrofits.

Below are some projector comparison photos...enjoy:
