Hyper flash - best solutions
Purchased a couple of V-LED's to go in my new headlights from Bilingvic. VLED claims that they have solved the hyper flash issue with their new lights. Well, not on my truck. I used the supplied fuses to activate internal resistors but all that did was make the output about 1/3 of what it should be.
Before I go any further, you would need to know that I still have incandescent bulbs in the taillights, so that would not be the issue.
I wired in a 6 ohm 50 watt resistor and that did the trick for one side, but not the other. Even with this resistor in place, the output is diminished when the turn signal is on. The VLED is very bright in the constant on mode.
I say all that to ask the following; is it better to wire the resistor between the power wire and a ground on the truck or would it be better to wire the resistor from the power wire to the ground wire at the connector? Mine is currently between the power wire and a ground on the truck.
Thanks
