One of my first light upgrades was the turn signal addition on the rear view mirrors. I did this a year and half ago.

I too have had one led fail on each side. Interestingly, only the middle led has stopped working. There are 5 LEDs per side. Because the middle one is the only one to have failed, it is not bad looking. I would rather have 5, but it is still acceptable.

I did seal mine up and used the black tape to give a better contrast. Have to say the taking the mirrors off was one thing I did not enjoy.

Me too, mostly. I've had mine since summer, I lose a few when it rains but they come back after it dries out. All I did was smear some silicone on the back side of the circuit board.

Thing is that clear lens on the front isnt sealed and will slso allow water in the front of the lens!

i just got a replacement from warranty. gooped them all around and installed when the silicone wasnt quite dried in hopes it wouldnt open up from installation and 2 days later 1 of the 5 leds is burnt out. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF, I got the replacements about a year ago.

I decided not to silicone them this time and they have been perfect .

Sucks man. Theyre a crap shot, but they do look Great when they work!

I bought a pr of these in case mine should die Again... Ill just stickem over the existing leds, as these Are waterproof!
