I'm pretty sure asking for help is a way to "search and learn". Instead for not offending us, why not just post something helpful. We all have different skills here.

http://www.otrattw.net/ sells a wide selection of switches, all the way up to 8 pin. Each have thier own wiring diagram and layout. So it's hard to advise you which wire to place where. I used a 5 pin.
However for the harness, mine came from superbrightleds.com Black was neg, white was pos, and blue was to the relay. I mentioned I used a 5 pin switch, the other two wires came from as follows; 1 wire was a second ground for the second led bulb in the switch, and the second was jumped off the dimmer power.
This means my lower light comes on when my running lights are on, and is dimmable with the rest of the dash lights. The top light only comes on when the light bar is on.
That's my set up. I run V1D1Jxxx model switches.
Hope this help. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. While I'm not on all the time, I will do my best to help.
