anyone have issues with hids???
Hey guys ive had 2 different sets of hids in my fogs now and both have only lasted for about 2 months each time, but the catch is its only the drivers side that keeps going out??? Anyone have any similar issues like this, two sets, two different brands so its not a band bashing session but something has got to be upping the wattage in the drivers side for some reason to keep doing this?? Anyone have some insight on this?
Besides the hids whats a good bulb to replace the stock junk bulbs that come in our trucks? Thanks guys

Wellsir - you've discovered what others have known fer some time - the kits are almost universally cheap worthless chinglish junk.

And - if you simply must use PnP HID's in fogs, at least these are quality:

I just find it odd that its 2 different brands and only the drivers side keeps going out. The last set i bought i actually ran in my truck for over 4 years and never had to replace a bulb or a ballast so i know there great kits.
But yeah the first kit i put in was a cheapo kit but figured theyd last more then 2 months. Thanks for the links i knew i seen something up on them a while ago but couldnt rembember! thanks

I don't have a FX4 but I do have a bilinvic Retrofits FX4 custom retro's HID heads and foglights.
I'm very happy with both. I'm at work right now but here's one picture of what they look like in the daytime. My truck on the left and a stock lighting F150 on the right. I can post a link to a video or more pics when I get home if you like.
