Trust me, I'm not calling them idiots. I have no problem with properly done HID's that don't blind. Your first post just wasn't funny at all.

i guess we're more understanding up here. lol
Are you saying Canadians would rather a family be injured and possibly die in a collision due to blinding HID glare.. than somebody hit a moose? I would think many moose-vehicle collisions are due to excessive speed.. i.e. going too fast for their headlights. (not leaving enough room to stop) Of course, at times it's impossible to stop... but extra bright headlights won't help in those situations. (jumping out from behind an obstacle, etc)

Or maybe when trying to spot moose he blinds oncoming traffic preventing them from spotting another moose lurking on the other side of the road. **** just got real.

Just 2? Make 2 lightbars of HIDs and suspend one from the bumper and mount the other on the top of the cab.

You might have to upgrade the alternator to handle the load, but it should accomplish your goal.

I'm blinded by any type of light that is not properly aimed, not just hid's.

HID glare is very annoying, and poorly aimed halogens are an eyesore, I agree.

However a halogen can be aimed properly, rectifying the issue. HIDs? Not so much. Just a wall of intense blue, not impressive, not beneficial, just annoying.

Truth is, yes they are brighter. However if you aren't putting the extra light where it needs to be, its no better than halogens when it comes to usable output.
