Just got my H13/9008 LED headlight kit from 4x4truckleds.com and wanted to give my initial impression. Build quality seems good, they are solid. Install was simple, plug the little ballast into the headlight bulb and put the bulb into the headlight and plug the other end of the ballast into the headlight connector. All high/low beams and foglights operate just as before. They are bright, very bright. I did not adjust anything on the headlights, just went for a drive while my son got into his lowered Ranger and he said there was no glare after passing him 3 times. We just went around the block several times in our small town. Overall I am happy with them. I will update this thread periodically to give updates on any issues I may have. This is my second purchase from them and both times I have received my order timely and all my questions are answered quickly.

Just took it out on the highway and wow! Lights the road very well, much better than my Philips Crystal Vision Ultras! Passed 3 cars, no-one flashed me and the highs are amazing. Just to be sure of the "new to me" lights were not a placebo, I had my wife drive it. First thing she said was "How much are these, I want them in my truck!" She also commented on how white they are, not much blue at all in my opinion.

No photos, there are several around though. I may still do it since I am trying them in 2 different vehicles that both use the H13. I like them so well, I will be getting 2 more sets eventually.

Sounds cool. What happened to the retro fitted ones? Not happy with them?

Sold them and I have to say, other than looking cool, they didnt light up the road any bettery than these LED bulbs.
