Helol everyone. I've got a 2010 Ford F-150 that I'm wanting to upgrade my headlights and fog lights, does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I'd like to go LED, but I'm not sure how bright those would be. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I just did a retrofit on my truck. I put in hid projectors and they are pretty bright. I don't think there are really any good led headlights for trucks right now. The 2015 has led but that's new tech so we won't have it. However, the retrofit source (TRS) has led fog lights now that are PnP and are supposedly brighter than current fog lights. That's just what I heard about brightness, I have no personal experience seeing them.

So I'm driving a 2004 XLT & my truck just recently burnt out through its second pair of hid's. I know of people who have hids and never seem to fail. why can't mine stay working? Ive heard of some sort of harness where it provides the extra .02 voltage needed to fully power the ballast. I can't remember the name. Anybody with similar problems?

What kind of harness do you have now?

Has anybody had any experience with the Anzo U bar headlights? My wife ordered me a pair for Christmas with an HID conversion kit. Just curious to se if anyone has had any negative issues with them.

That article is great, I'd seen parts of that here and there but not the whole set of information compiled together. It seems like with just getting those "plug and play" kits, the simplicity masks the safety hazards. I'm not necessarily set on getting HID's at the moment, just a little bit of looking around.

On ebay I've found these headlights, keep in mind that some show the projector style that is listed in the article, but some are still halogen that I like for the looks. Here are a few, if I could grab anyone's opinions?

I am thinking about upgradING my fog lights. Not sure whether to go with a HID kit or just a better quality bulb. Any opinions or advice will be greatly appreciated. BTW I am currently looking at this kit in the event that I end up with an HID swap:

Those are a perfect example of a bad projector. Poor quality only meant for halogens, but are still bad at that level. TRS does offer replacement projectors for those headlights, so you still can get them, and still get amazing light with their retro quik projectors.
