Best thing to do is to pull out one of your bulbs and verify the number, or open up your owners manual towards the back and it should have a table or list of replacement bulb numbers.

A digital ballast uses digital electrical components, an analog ballast is real heavy (usually) and uses analog electrical components. Mine are all digital components - I haven't updated my ballast comparison table yet though

Slim ballasts are about 1/3 the size of the standard ballasts, and the slim ballasts have longer wire leads on them so you have more options to hide or mount them in the engine bay. The slims are more commonly used for motorcycles where the benefit of having a smaller ballast truly shines

Sure would be nice if someone told us all this info BEFORE we bought our HID kits. Sure, you can buy them: H13 and H10 = $200 or so. Good luck figuring out if you'll need battery leads, slim balast (see above), digital balast (supposed to be better quality, quicker warm up times, a more consistant power delivery and supposed to last longer) or cancellers (supposed to eliminate flicker and dash errors AND may or may not already be included in some balasts!!!!!!!!). Oh, and good luck with after market projector lighting too (which is what the HID bulb was originally made for anyway!!!!!!!!) Might fit, might not. Thanks for your order though... lol
We really need to start sharing info here. For instance, I have a 2008 Ford F-150 and I installed the H13 Bixenon headlights and the H10 fog lights.
1. The light has a horrible glare from the reflector housings made by ford. Basically it just scatters the light and there is no concentrated pattern on the ground AT ALL (Unlike the BS pictures on the HID sales websites show) They are showing you the bulbs with an open shutter on the camera AND with the HID lights installed in projector lenses). Yes, of course it will look good in the picture!!!
2. The H10's had to be vice gripped to get the damn things to twist all the way.
3. I paid $250 for both kits and they were packaged very s***ty and were in a thin box with everything just crammed in there and looked like they were made in 8th grade shop class. P.S. I ordered it from these *** holes: (www.hidxenonheadlights.com) Who now want to charge me 25% ($62.50) to return the damn things (14 day return policy and only one year warranty). One of the main problems I am having with these lights is that they flicker until warmed up when I hit the unlock button on my key ring as the lights are supposed to come on for security (might need a battery connector cable or cancellers or both, not sure and neither is anyone else EVEN the people who sell these things). Not cool at all AND, I'm sure someone somewhere has had the same problem with the same vehicle. Thanks for telling me that www.hidxenonheadlights.com! Yes, I'm smearing your name so dick heads like you will not sell cheap s**t for a very expensive price to people again! Hope you go out of business!
PM me if you would like further info or pics of these kits. Would love to help keep someone else from making the same mistake I did! Make yourself a HID checklist from this post before you order! Trust me, it will save you trouble down the road!
