OK - enlighten me - Please show me where I called you a dumbass.

You've already received direction on where to start - and now that you've finally provided more complete information ( that should have been included in yer first post) - go and buy a NEW harness - yers is shot.

I also told you where to buy it - a quality, sealed one from TRS. And lastly - I showed you how to fix your current unfortunate 'system' - permanently.

You DO want to fix this, right?

good luck

MGD out.

Start by removing all the DDM junk. Run factory halogens until your kit from TRS gets in and you complete your retrofit.

Hi, first time on the site. I recently purchased a 55w hid kit with CANBUS from Absolute HID Canada. I installed the fog light kit, and the high/low beam kit. The system is only a month old, but, one morning when I went to start the vehicle, the low beams didn't turn on. I checked the right and left low beam (#16 & #17 fuses) and they are still good. The high beams and fog lights still work.
Anyone have any solutions?

Don't mean to offend anyone here but it seems that about anytime someone has a problem with HID setups the most common response is to purchase your setups from the source that seems to be recognized as the best out there and that is TRS. I am sure that a large number of the people that have had problems with products from other vendors were well aware of this forum and the source that is considered by most here I believe to be the best supplier. Maybe it is just me but I don't understand why you would try to save a few bucks upfront (if you are actually saving up front) just to end up having to repurchase later or live with a inferior product. That being said, hope someone here can help you! JMO

Check the plugs where the harness plugs into the factory wiring, a pin may have come loose

I have a 2012 F-150 STX, does the VVME Bi-Xenon H13-3 kit fit my truck? Has anyone used a VVME brand kit? Thanks.

Tht VVME kit does not include projectors, so, NO, it definitely would not be an acceptable setup for your truck. I just went through a similar project for my '11 FX4, and here is probably your easiest solution (this complete kit is what I used):

Thanks for the reply. I'm not looking for a retrofit. I'm looking for a HID conversion.

Gotcha. As I'm sure you know, all HID kits are solidly horrendous in the F150 OEM halogen reflectors -- less output than stock halogens, and horrible (and illegal) glare for other drivers.

Having said that, I've read of folks using the VVME components... For the money, they are almost "disposable," so never hurts to try out the setup. Most any H13 bulbs should fit the OEM housings. Not sure what you'll do for high- and low-beam differentiation...
