Hey guys, I decided to return my 55w 6000k foglights and run the 35w 6000k ones instead. My headlights are equipped with the 55w 6000k ones, will they have the same colour as the 35w 6000k? Thanks

They still supply HID kits , they're just currently out of the slim ballast kits but have the Apexcone one's with a lifetime warranty. just ordered a set for my grandfathers Linoln Mark

No, get the 35w 5k for the fogs so they match. I have the 55W 6k in headlights and 35w 5k in my fogs and they're perfect! DDM on all my vehicles.

Your HID Vendor
You should be fine with 55w kits, but I always suggest 35w because of the all around benefits
Low wattage, less heat, much higher output than stock, and longer life expectancy.

Did you get the fogs capped or dipped so your not burning peoples eyes with the exposed filament? At least in 06+ there are no bulb caps in the housing for the fogs.

HID problems
Hey I purchased a raptor HID kit 35w HI and LO beam from DDM tuning.. And i purchased the HID 35w fog light kit from DDM tuning. As soon as i installed them my hi/lo beams work great as long as my fog lights are not on. But as soon as I turn my fog lights on with my headlights my headlights start to act crazy. For example when my fog light switch is on inside the truck and i switch my lights to high beam the passenger headlight stays on hi beam and the driver side will switch back and forth from lo to hi when i hit the switch. And sometimes both of my headlights will stay on hi beam when the switch is on low beam. As soon as i turn my fog light switch off inside the truck my headlights work fine on lo and hi beam. There is only one relay and fuse for the headlights and fog lights. Do i need to have a second relay for just my fog lights? Or do i have a short somewhere? If anyone has any suggestions let me know please

i had both 35w xenon HID kits for my headlights and foglights from http://www.vvme.com , it worked for 2 years already. nothing problems..
they guys said 55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output( for example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit).
55w HID Kits are not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area.
the halogen lights are 55w so we need 35w xenon HID kit 43k to replace..
so u need to be more carful of ur foglights if u installed it without any capacitor or relay harness....
