Default 50 Led Bar Install

Anyone got any tips installing a 50 inch above windshield? Things to make sure of for no future problems? Waiting for these mounts to show up now, anyone use them before? Any info would be great, kinda nervous about it!

Apparently people are running the power wire down along the door frame and in where the rubber hose is connected to the door for its wires, then the door seal seals around the mounts at this location

when u run the wire down the door. put a little dip in the wire so its lower than were it enters the door. any water that may follow the wire will drip off at this point

Smart idea, will have to try and do something like that when I go to install it, only issue being if it were too long it would get caught by the door. I may actually put the wire through the rubber seal and then use something to seal it off, so that it doesn't have a gap to find it's way down through.

Does not have to be a big dip.. I have seen people use silicone to seal it. Water always seemed to find its way in no mater how good they sealed it..

Do you think a small u zip tied together would work if it were just before the wire goes down through the rubber?
Water issues are the last thing I want.

actually a small zip tie or a dab of silicon would work just before the wire enters the door.. anything that would redirect the flow of water that may come down the wire

How are you guys running these to a button on the inside of your cab? Are you all planning or making a switch panel for it?

Would you be willing to give me some dimensions off those mounts? I'd like to try and make my own
