Default 3000k Fogs?

I'm going to order my hid's soon. I used to see people run 3000K's in their fogs and 5000-6000K in their headlights (not f150) when i lived down toward houston.....anyone doing that or know if there'd be any benefit for it? or is it just for looks?

I'm running with 3k fogs. I did have 6k's, but got flashed too much. So far the 3k have been good. Really lights up the "dead zone" immediately ahead of the truck...plus, they look too kool!!!!!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend them...I don't think you would be disappointed with their performance and functionality.

It is if you live in a cold winter climate with alot of snow and night driving in the snow.

This 'fad' began with European cars that did alot of snow driving....they warmer color temp of the 3000k fogs mixes with the cooler whiter temp of the headlights...typically 4300k in oem applications...and doesn't reflect off of the snow as badly
