When you go to mount it back into the dash, you will have to cut out a hole where you put the switch.

Because I chose to mount it using the vertical bars behind the grille, I had to run the wires down the side and on the underside of the hood.

Here's the finished product.

Here's some pics in the back alley. First is with just the headlights, then with just the LED bar, then with both. I think the LED bar is angled up just a lil too high. I may tilt it down just a degree or two.

I know it wasn't the best "how to" but feel free to ask any questions!

The only thing I haven't figured out how to do is get the switch to work with my dash lights. I want to splice it in to the dimmer wire and be able to adjust the switch light brightness with the rest of my dash. If anyone knows how to do that and would be willing to give me some insight, that would be great!

Yup! I used a little spacer ring (shown in pics) on each end to make it a snug fit, but it was super easy. Hopefully yours will fit too. It makes mounting it so simple.

Were is everyone tapping in for their feed? Or are you not having the bar triggered with the high beams? I have run into this 2x where i will tap into the high beam wire behind the head light. But that is also the DRL feed just at a lower voltage and it will trip my relay without my high beams on. Not a huge deal since i have a switch installed but i know one of these days i will forget to shut them off and get nabbed.

Zrock on that note. What are the common fines for having these light bars on while driving back roads etc in replace or tied into your high beams?

Anyone have issues with the bar cooling being placed in this position? Thinking of mounting two 30s behind the grill, one on top and one on bottom haha

Just in case you need a bracket idea.

Could you get the measurements on that bracket? Might try and make it instead of mounting behind grill on the bars, might be mounting 2 30s and both may be too heavy on hood.

If its mounted close to the trans. cooler it will raise the trans. temp, need at least an inch of clearance.
