Rampage Lightbar is AWFUL - Need advice
I made the mistake of going cheap and buying the 60" Rampage lightbar for $30. To no one's surprise, three of the LEDs went out after a month. Although it comes with a one year warranty, Rampage won't do anything about it. Their "solution" is for me to pay for shipping and handling of the original bar back to them and then, they will evaluate it. So, if I spend $25, I might get $5 back - no thanks.
Since, I went the cheap route the first time, I want a quality lightbar that actually works longer than a session of Congress. Can anyone give me a recommendation based on personal experience?
Thanks in advance.

I think at $30 you cut your losses...
Are you trying to fix it yourself or are you looking for a replacement??
Do you have a link to this thing???

I would guess it's this one:

OP there are several other manufactures out there and high cost doesn't always = quailty either. I've got a RECON extreme one at the moment but it's the most expensive one since the indicators scan. I can't give you a report back on it's reliabilty yet since I've only had it installed for 2 months but so far no issues.
Some other brands out there are:
RECON:

Putco:

IPCW:

LEDGLow:

I'm pretty sure all them are available on E-bay for cheaper.

Azuri, thanks for the great info. I think I will try the Recon Extreme like you have. I don't really care what it costs, I just want it to be reliable and not have to change it in a few months.
As for the $30, it's a cheap price for me to be able to badmouth Rampage and their no customer service for the next few days. What's the point of offering a warranty.
Thanks again.

No Problem, You can pick up the RECON one up for $99 on ebay it does require a dedicated +12V wire which I tapped into the trailer hitch so be aware of that as well as a white wire that taps into the reverse light. The light is a bit more complex but by far the best looking one.
Good Luck!
