I have had three different setups on mine, and all of them tend to bounce a bit. But I also have 10 ply tires and stiff suspenion up front. I have retrofitted a set, bought a set, and also tried factory '13 heads, and the same '13 heads with EVOX projectors. They all bounce. I have taken every set apart and made sure everything was good and tight everywhere...... the only thing I can come up with is the beam adjustment bracket has a bit of wiggle room. If you take a light apart and tap on the black bracket, it definitely moves just a hair. I don't think we notice it on halogen lamps because the beam is everywhere. It's just my opinion, but I feel a better way to keep the adjustment bracket in place would help.

If I were to go this route and modify the D2S bulb to fit the D3S socket (I will keep searching to find how to do this as well), I know I would need D2S ballasts to go with them as well. Knowing that, will the wire that is built into the housing (where the truck harness plugs in) fit onto the D2S ballast as well, or is that a different connection from D2S to D3S ballasts? If it will, great. if it wont, how would you plug the ballasts into the harness?

You need a full H13 wire harness, the OEM connections won't work with the D2S system.
