I went ahead and put a small amount in the bottom of the connections when I installed my lights. They've been running well for the last year and half

Also, why is this happening when I turn my truck on, just on lamp is on? I just noticed it for the first time so not sure how often it's happening. Do I need a new harness? I've taken the harness and reconnected to make sure all is tight.

It happened again tonight, noticed the same side not powering up until after I turn the lights of and on. It's like I have to jump start them

Mine do the same thing if I start the truck with the autolamps enabled. If I turn the key on and wait a couple of seconds before starting the engine, both come on just fine. If I start the engine with the lights off and pull the **** to turn them on, both come on. I've double checked my grounds, sanded a small spot where they contact the body, no change.

Sounds like a grounding issue, if the ballast can't fully fire it's 1kv arc for the bulb ignition it will Trip off until you retry it. Let me know what you find and maybe a warranty harness is required!

Well I'll try remanding the spot where the ground I'd connected and go from there and report back.

Is it safe to wash the truck or is there curing time for the re-seal of the headlights?

Hey tux.. can you tell me what the diameter is on the black ring and the flat gray surface is around the projector on a 2013 OEM light?? I am ordering some LED halo's rings (add-ons) and not sure what size to order.
Thanks in advance for your help..

Not sure how you grounded, but try grounding to the bolt on the rad support. Other factory wires are grounded there. Def sounds like a grounding issue.

Where is the rad support located. I took everything apart, cleaned it up and even put some grease on the connectors to keep them protected, re-sanded the spots were grounded and it's still flickers on and off when I initially start the truck. I'll give the rad support a shot to,see if it helps otherwise I may have to warranty the harness from TUX

I have pictures of the location...waiting for them to upload from the phone.

Location of grounding screw:

For reference it's directly behind this mounting location:
