There was this random cord in the box with all the other components and I am not sure what this is for, extra?
This is provided in most kits so you can test the components without hooking them up to your car, just use this to connect to a power source and plug into your new light kit.

This is what I am using now, 90mm housing caps from TRS. Cut a hole in the top of the cap a little smaller than that rubber circle that the bulb wires run through (if you look, you'll see a channel in the middle of that wire holder and you can seat the housing cap in that channel and it seals everything up snug. Ill take a photo tomorrow.
