I've noticed upon turning on my lights that about half the time my driver side headlight isn't turning on unless I turn the lights off & on again and that usually fixes it. Once on, its fine, no flickering or anything. I have the ground on the same support on the driver side as I do on the passenger side and it's on bare metal. Any thoughts?

TRS is now making an upgraded ballast (DSP) that isn't affected by cold weather as much, supposedly. I've been fighting my existing ballasts all winter. They worked for all of 2013 until the cold weather hit...

I have swapped everything from side to side, it is not anything from TRS.
When I turn it on it will come on for a split second then kick off. This makes me think a relay is not staying engaged.
Another thing that kinda coincides with my relay hypothesis is this. I turned the lights on, drivers side came on for a sec then kicked off. I unplugged the projectors harness and put my halogen bulb back in, and nothing. Turned lights off the back on, halogen fired right up.
It's almost like the ballasts are not drawing enough current to hold the Relay closed.
